Gymnastics

So Jocelyn has been to gymnastics 4 weeks now and she LOVES LOVES LOVES it.  So does mommy :)  Though I have to say, after the very first class she spent that entire week literally "practicing" everything she'd learned.  Mike looked at me and said "Yeah, maybe gymnastics isn't such a good idea afterall." LOL  Oh my heck, seriously.  This child...

Mike was bugging me to take pictures, but it's REALLY hard to get pics at gymnastics when we're constantly moving.  Yesterday we had a substitute coach, so it wasn't nearly as structured as usual and there were also more kids there.  So I was finally able to get a bunch of pictures while the coach had Jocelyn.

There were 4 kids this week, so far the other 3 weeks it's just been Jocelyn and one other boy.  She is the only girl in this class, the youngest and the BIGGEST! lol  It's SO funny to see her running around with 3 little boys that are older and all 4 of them are exactly the same size.  Teeny little boys and a giant little girl.

I just LOVE this little face!!

Bubbles!
They get stamps at the end of every class.  Jocelyn RAN to the cabinet when she saw the coach heading that way, sat down, pulled up her pant leg and waited SO patiently!
SO fun!!

18 Month Well Exam

Little J had her 18 month well exam a couple days ago.  She is:

33.1 inches, 90th%. This surprised me since at the GI appt she was at 80th%. Guess she hit another growth spurt
24 lbs 9 oz. 80th%
Head = 50th%

I thought she was slowing down, but apparently nsm.

Cheat Meal

OMG, I totally made a cheater's dinner tonight! I didn't have anything and just went browsing through the pantry.  I rarely ever use this much processed foods, especially for one meal, but whatev.  When you're in a pinch!  It worked for tonight and I ended up with this:

Stuffed Pasta Shells

1 lb venison sausage
1 bundle of spinach (to make myself feel a bit better :D)
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can rotel
1/2 cup cheddar & monterrey jack (probably more, I don't measure)
1/2 cup parmesan, romana & asiago (ditto above)
1 jar alfredo sauce

(see what I mean on the processed foods? eeesh!)

Brown the sausage, add cream of mushroom, toss in the spinach and let it simmer for like 10 minutes.  Add rotel and cheese until blended/melted.  Scoop into pasta shells.  Add alfredo sauce and throw on some more cheese!

Bake at 350 for like 20-25 minutes(ish).

Sorry you didn't get a beautiful picture of a super appetizing dish.  I forgot to get a picture beforehand, so you get pics of the leftovers ;)

It turned out a little rich but pretty tasty.

Best Dad Ever!

Seriously, the best dad EVER!  Mommy painted her toes earlier in the day, and daddy came home and painted her fingers!!!  SO SO SO SO CUTE!!!!!!!!  Daddy requested that I not put these pictures on facebook (because it's annoying lol), but he didn't say anything about the blog ;)

 Blowing on the wet polish.

Different color on each hand.  Such a creative daddy ;) LOL
(Don't mind the messy face, we had just finished dinner!)

Finished product! :D

Night, night!

Seriously, really, aww man!

The "seriously" part got cut off at the beginning. Now anytime we say any of these things, she immediately repeats :)
