Crazy Weather

I realize that there is crazy weather all over the nation right now but the weather here is, well, INSANE.

So yesterday it was 95 degrees and today it was 50 with a forecast for snow. We'll see if there's snow when we wake up in the morning. I'm sure there'll be some in the mountains if we don't see it in our back yard.

Isn't that just ridiculous? SNOW!! ALREADY!! In case I haven't mentioned it a million times.... I. hate. snow. It's cold and it sucks to drive in.

Carpooling :)

This is my second blog of the day, I know. I didn't have time to finish earlier, so here we go.

Since I've ranted and raved about the stupid snow, you must now know that the windshield wipers on my car don't work. Obviously this is a big problem. Mike made me get up early so that he could drop me off at work on his way in. He goes to work like an hour before I do. Which really leads me to say 2 things.

1. Everyone at work was pretty much shocked, because well, for any of you that know me well...I'm not exactly what you would call punctual. :) So coming in super early? Pretty sure I deserve a raise for that!

2. Naturally, since Mike dropped me off in the morning, I was completely dependent on him to come and get me for lunch. So on our little luncheon I told him that I thought it would be fun if we carpooled everyday! *batting eyes* You should seriously have seen the look on his face! lol I wished I had the camera ready to capture that one. I personally don't see a problem with it. ;) Why is it that men are so opposed to spending some great quality time with their so non-demanding wives!?

And you should know, I ended up driving his truck home. Alone. Guess he made his point. :)

Snow....again....SERIOUSLY?

So just in case any of you are actually interested in my weather updates, here it is. Sat - Mon we had beautiful sunny skies with temperatures in the low 90s, Tuesday high 80s, Wednesday the temperature dropped to 40s and low 50s and yesterday we had SNOW! It actually snowed yesterday. 2 days prior we had 80-90 degree weather and yesterday morning our vehicles were completely covered in it! But of course as soon as we hit the highway on the way to work there was no sign of it anywhere. Very few others even had a trace of it on their vehicles. I guess the snow just likes to dump right over our house because God knows just how much I love it. :-)

I'm SO not even kidding. And here we always thought that Oklahoma weather was bad. I don't know if I'll ever figure out if it's sweater season or bikini season!!

Nevada Weather

So we're experiencing some crazy weather again. It was 80 degrees just the day before yesterday, low 70s yesterday and SNOW today??? Seriously?? And why I expect anything different, I don't know. Last year we had this see-saw weather pattern for 6 weeks straight all the way through June. Every other weekend was sunny and warm and then snow on the following. Does anyone know just how much I hate the snow? I used to love it when I only saw a few inches the entire year. This Nevada weather is just plain insane. I want spring!!

*sigh* I think I get the winter blues...bad. lol

Mike is loving it. I think the dogs normally love the snow, but they're already shedding their winter coats. :( Poor babies.
