Nursery!
Mike finished the moulding today!!! So now the nursery is mostly finished!! I think I overdid it a bit with all the wall decals, so I just need to figure out which ones I like and which ones to take down.
I LOVVEEEE the cherry blossom tree behind the glider. But the quality sucks huge. It won't stay on the wall and I'm constantly having to put it back up.
Anyhow, it's FINISHED! Just some tweaking to be done. Like I'm also not so sure about the bear rug. It might look better in the guest room where the furniture is white. Also need to figure out what stays on the dresser.
K enough talking, here are some pics! (Apparently Mike wanted the name to be a secret, so he didn't want me to post pictures of the nursery with her name showing :) Though everyone who reads my blog probably already knows. However, we have made changes)

Hyper!
I am seriously hyper today!!! This is the most energy I have had in months. And I'm not quite sure what to do with myself! I went shopping this morning, cleaned the guest bathroom, straightened up the MB and working on organizing the mb bathroom!
Michael is almost done with the moulding in the nursery!!! When I got home from shopping, he told me to go look and I RAN up the stairs. Yep you read right. This hugely preggo girl RAN up the stairs. (I did need an oxygen break when I got there though lol)
As soon as he's done, I'm going to finish up and the nursery will be DONE!!! hopefully tonight!!! I'm SO excited!
So maybe I'll have some pictures to share. I guess I could take pics of the finished rooms in the house to share as well. Or maybe i'll just wait till the whole house is done! :D

39 Weeks
Had my appointment yesterday and found out I'm nearly 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced! YAY!!!! Except doc said don't' get too excited because I could still go past my due date lol
My mom will be here day after tomorrow! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Everything is coming along, I'm SO excited!

I really should have read the reviews before purchasing this item. It was a spontaneous purchase when I saw it in the store.
Although it is BEAUTIFUL on the wall and sooo perfect in our nursery...it does not STAY on the wall. Other appliques work perfectly and stay on just fine. This one does not adhere whatsoever and I keep having to pat it down and pick up flowers when I enter the room. I was hoping to come on and see if someone else had a solution to keeping them up.
The other major issue is that the pieces are not cut out well. The branches ripped easily when coming off the page which was incredibly frustrating!

38+4
Only 1 week and 2 days to go!! (I do realize it could be more than that, but hopefully not MUCH more!)
I think this is the first time I've straightened my hair in 2 months. I didn't realize how long it's gotten. YAY!!!!!!! I'm ready for waist length hair again :-)
So far I have managed to keep all stretch marks at bay!! I can't believe it!!!!! I seriously I thought I was doomed if genes are any indicator. Though I am a little worried about the last couple of weeks. It is SO SO tight that it hurts. I will cry if any pop up days before she pops out! I know everyone has their opinions about whether cream really works or not, but I'm still slathering it on!!!!!! It's funny, that is one expense Mike has not minded one bit. lol
I had a minor scare 2 nights ago. I woke up at 3am with sudden extreme abdominal pain. I didn't want to wake Mike up unless I knew for sure, but I got SUPER excited thinking I was going into labor!! lol Then I realized it wasn't contractions, I was having another episode of gastritis, the stupid thing that landed me in the hospital 10 weeks ago. At least I knew what it was this time so I didn't freak out, but HOLY COW is it ever freakin painful. Very surprisingly so. THANK GOODNESS this time it only lasted just over an hour. Mike ended up waking up anyway and was SO incredibly sweet and cute. He just asked if the baby was coming and was rubbing my back and belly the whole time. Poor guy had to be up at 4:30 to get ready for work. I felt sooo bad and he was being SO sweet!

Relax??
Seriously?! The next person to tell me to relax, that the baby will come when she's ready, is gonna get throttled.
No freakin kidding. I'm pretty sure I know that baby will come on her own time, but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to try and help her along :-)

Exhaustion and other
The fence got installed. Installation day was much less dramatic!
Some cut flowers from our garden out on our patio (before fence), I LOVE being out in the backyard. It's so peaceful.
I have spent the last week or two absolutely exhausted. I think maybe even more than 1st trimester. I haven't gotten a whole lot done in the house, which stresses me out. I have a day here and there where I get spurts of energy and then go nuts with putting stuff away. But then I wear myself out. Last week I was totally done being pregnant. Fortunately I feel better this week and it's not so bad. Minus the exhaustion :-)
It still doesn't seem real that there will be a baby here in just over 2 weeks. Holy moly!

The Fence Saga
We're having a privacy fence installed due to the bratty children that play on this new playground behind our house. They're hanging on our fence, harassing our dogs, etc.
So today the guy shows up to start installation,
First of all, he walked straight through the backyard without even letting me know they were here. All I heard was the dogs barking and then suddenly a knock on the door. 2 guys are standing there and said "We just went to the backyard and you have 2 dogs back there." NO KIDDING. Who does that??????? Who comes to provide a professional service and not bother to inform the owners of their presence on their property!! What if they'd let the dogs out? I'm 8 months pregnant and not about to go running around the neighborhood to chase them down.
And now all of a sudden he's saying there's issues. They've had 3 guys out to the house already and no one's mentioned there being a problem. Now he's telling me if he can't use his big machine (and destroy my garden) that he's going to have to charge us more. Then he digs his shovel into the grass so that it stands upright b/c apparently he's too lazy to bend over and pick it up. In the meantime, it's alright to destroy our yard. They could just lean it up against the fence.
Then I get: We're going to have to leave for 2 hours because I guess my concrete is hard. Ummm and you didn't notice that before you got here??? And then tore down my gate to get their equipment through and says they're leaving it down all day. Sorry, no can do. I have dogs that need to be let out to go potty. Pretty sure all day isn't gonna work. And this is after he tells me they're not going to be able to use the big machine after all because there's just too much going on back there and even if they do it all by hand, they're going to trample and destroy my garden.
So after we've had 3 people come out from the same company and NO one says this will be an issue, now suddenly you're going to destroy all of our landscaping?
Pretty sure they'll be getting a call from Mike any moment now. Plus, they were supposed to be here yesterday when Mike was OFF but that didn't happen.
I'm sure I'll have updates later. I just needed to vent. They're pissing off a pregnant girl and MIKE. Not a good idea people.
